Coronavirus outbreak in Wuhan, China is the greatest concern of the world these days which is threatening human lives. The number of death hasn’t stopped rising, leaving people all over the world worried. In this context, many movies and games related to the deadly epidemic are earning great concern among the audiences and gamers. Resident Evil is one of those games. Especially, many fans pointed out some creepy correlations between this epidemic and the horror game accidentally.

Wuhan Coronavirus And Resident Evil

The plot of Resident Evil is about a deadly virus outbreak in Racoon city that killed over half of the citizens. Surprisingly, the logo of the biotech lab in Shanghai, a neighbor city of the epidemic center Wuhan, is pretty similar to Umbrella Corporation. These two logos are only different in color.

For those who don’t know, Umbrella is a fictional pharmaceutical and chemical corporation in the Resident Evil Franchise. The Headquarter of this corporation is located in Racoon city, the center of the in-game epidemic. The experiments of Umbrella accidentally caused a virus outbreak on a worldwide scale. Lots of humans were turned into zombies, animals became monsters. The deadly virus spreads out a great fear throughout the world.

The logo of this fictional corporation is a red-white umbrella. And coincidentally, the logo of the biotech lab in Shanghai is a green-white umbrella. What a creepy connection.

Moreover, a Twitter account “Undoomed” pointed out another connection between two words “Racoon” and “Corona”. If you change the order of letters, you will see a surprising thing. These two words have the same set of letters.

Of course, these are some funny random intersection points of this game and the epidemic. There is no evidence or reason to suspect the relationship between these two events. But we all hope that this epidemic will end soon.
